Consignment Shopping and Thrift Shopping are two totally separate things. Consignment stores offer used items that are in near perfect condition and tend to be all high-end and designer items. Things like handmade garments and jewelry are also items that are found in consignment shops. These shops pay for the items they sell instead of receiving them as donations like Thrift Stores. Thrift Stores are known for housing anything and everything, so finding designer and quality pieces are few and far between.
